Nichirei Logistics Group HQ (President: Kazuhiko Umezawa, Head office: Kanda Misaki-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has acquired additional 60% shares of NL COLD CHAIN NETWORK (M) SDN. BHD. of Malaysia (hereinafter NLCCN) on 28 February 2023. NLCCN had been our affiliated company since 2018. Now as a result of the additional acquisition, it is our wholly owned subsidiary.

Nichirei Logistics Group has been developing its business in Malaysia through its investment in NLCCN in June 2018 and NL LITT TATT GROUP SDN.BHD. in June 2022. Taking the opportunity of becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary this time, the Group aims to further expand its Malaysian business through appropriate business investment by speeding up management decisions.
