We are pleased to announce that our UK subsidiary, Thermotraffic Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TT Ltd.), has acquired Admark Shipping Solutions Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Admark), a company engaged in the forwarding business in the UK. On May 31, 2024, TT Ltd. acquired all shares of Admark, making it a subsidiary.
Since our entry into the European market in the Netherlands in 1988, we have been expanding our cold chain logistics business in Europe. In the UK, we have been enhancing our functions through two acquisitions since our entry in 2014.
Furthermore, in January of this year, we undertook an organizational restructuring aimed at expanding our business through the realization of further synergies. TT Ltd. provides a one-stop service for customs clearance, transportation, storage, and value-added services for frozen goods in the UK, demonstrating a strong presence in the country's port business.
Admark, the company we are acquiring, has extensive experience and a strong track record in the export forwarding business, particularly excelling in maritime transport services for frozen products.
This acquisition strengthens our maritime transport capabilities, enabling us to offer comprehensive cold chain logistics services in the UK.
Through the mutual utilization of the capabilities and customer bases of both TT Ltd and Admark, we aim to further expand our business in the UK by providing high-quality cold chain logistics services.
